Copy Data From Excel

There are two methods for using Excel data to generate bulk barcodes: 'Load Data From Excel' and 'Copy Data From Excel'.

Let's walk through how to use each option:

'Copy Data From Excel':

The 'Load Data From Excel' function can only import data from Excel files that follow a specific format. If your Excel sheet doesn't match this format, you'll need to manually copy and paste the data column by column into this program to generate barcodes.

You can copy data from any version of Excel, text files, MS Access database tables, or other database tables. However, the 'Load Data From Excel' function only supports Excel 2003/2007.

Click the 'Load Data From Excel' button to open the Data Copying Form, as shown in the image below. You can either copy data column by column or copy a block of cells from your Excel sheet and paste them all at once into the form.

Once pasted, you can further edit the data, such as deleting unnecessary rows or columns or rearranging the columns.

As shown in the image, the top three buttons are used for additional editing options, such as deleting extra rows/columns or rearranging columns.

If the structure of your Excel sheet is complex and it's hard to copy all the data at once, click the 'Copy Data Column by Column' button to enable the column-by-column copying function.

Column-by-Column Copying:

The following image shows the column-by-column copying form, where you can paste data in multiple steps.

At the top of the form, you'll see a row of tabs: Barcode Value, Print Quantity, Title 1, Title 2, Footer 1, Footer 2.

For each tab, copy a column of data from your Excel sheet or another program's table and click the 'Paste' button to paste it into the form.

Additional editing features are available, such as replacing text, deleting blank rows, and converting the first letter of each word to uppercase.

After importing the data, you can further edit it by adjusting rows and columns or modifying individual cells. When you're done, click 'OK' to complete the data import.
